In many situations, pipe lining requires little or no excavation. One of the primary benefits of trenchless sewer lining is that the liner can often be installed through an existing cleanout or a small access point instead of digging a long trench across the property.
Some limited excavation may still be necessary if no suitable access point exists or if portions of the sewer line require localized repairs before lining. Compared to traditional sewer replacement, trenchless pipe lining typically causes far less disruption to landscaping, sidewalks, patios, driveways, and interior flooring.
