After the flexible liner has been inserted into the existing sewer pipe and positioned correctly, it is inflated so it presses tightly against the interior walls of the pipe. The epoxy resin is then cured, or hardened, using one of several methods depending on the product and installation requirements.
Common curing methods include hot water, steam, ambient curing, and ultraviolet (UV) light. Once the resin fully hardens, it forms a strong, seamless pipe within the existing sewer line. A final sewer camera inspection is typically performed to verify proper installation before the line is returned to service.
